["Cornwall and Scilly guidebooks","featured","new"]
This guidebook covers the coast from Maenporth to the famous sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. Then on to Port Navas and the granite uplands beyond Constantine. We then return to the Meneage on the southern banks of the Helford and take in the hidden places like Frenchman's Creek and Gillan. Finally to Trelowaren, Tremayne Quay and St Anthony – some of Cornwall's most beautiful places. The book is full of helpful advice, detailed maps, descriptions and pictures.
I love these guides. There is so much information on the maps, and even more in the text. I ordered both this and the Lizard guide well before our holiday so as to enjoy the reading up and learn more.

Very helpful.
We have been to this part of Cornwall many times, but this guide gave a lot of new and interesting information.

So much fun
It was only yesterday that I spent a pleasant hour on the sofa planing my next holiday in South Cornwall. The Helford Friendly Guide shows you how to explore the beaches, lanes and creeks. Without it you would be surely lost. Too much "private access only".

Helford
The Friendly Guides set the gold standard for guides to Cornwall and they are an outstandingly efficient publisher.

A wonderful series of guides
Possibly the best series currently in print. The maps have legible writing,no microscope is necessary,& are easy to follow. All of the books in this series contain an absolute wealth of information&are a pleasure to read,&I hope that they will soon produce one for North Cornwall.I can't recommend it highly enough!
