Greatly enhanced our holiday
I am a great fan of the Friendly guides. I have them all. They are not only very helpful when you are actually on holiday in Cornwall. They are interesting to read any time of the year - just for fun.
Just what I wanted to inspire me over the winter, encourage me to come to the Lizard, and plan my trip next year.
We were staying at a wonderful small hotel in Penzance called Chapel House. In the bedrooms they have a copy of the Friendly Guides for the far west side of Cornwall ... we took the recommendation of a magnificent circular walk from Zennor over country fields returning along a breathtaking coastal route. When friends managed to secure a last minute booking in the Lizard I immediately thought of ordering a copy of the Friendly Guides and their pocket book guides for that area. The service was both extremely efficient and honest ... unprompted they reimbursed me for the postal costs covering both orders ... I highly recommend their products and their efficient and honest service ... Thank You
